This is a board about manual lathes and the shops they sit in. You can drift. You can't move in.
Sell in classifieds, not in the middle of somebody's troubleshooting. One bump after a week, not a bump every morning. That last part got written down in 2019 after we all got tired.
Don't post other people's phone numbers. Don't pretend you're a shop if you're dropshipping mini lathes out of a container. We can tell.
Argue the cut, not the person, unless they earned it, and even then take a lap.
Politics dies in the lunchroom after one warning. lane does not enjoy warnings. I don't enjoy lane not enjoying things.
If you're new, introductions exist. Most of us don't read them. A better introduction is a problem with the measurements attached.
Edited 2019 to point at lane's note below. The first version was shorter and people still didn't read it.

Classifieds rule is not optional. Daily bumps get the ad pulled. I pulled three in March. You know who you are, and if you don't, that is also a problem.

I have never sold anything and I still feel scolded. Impressive work, lane.
