indicator stand from the cutoff bin

Made a stand because the magnetic one walks when the mill is on two benches over. Base is 2 inch round, arm is 3/8 rod, clamp is a split collar I bored in the lathe. Not interesting. Posting so I remember the bore size later. 0.376 before split. It clamps.

This is the least dramatic project log on the board and I respect it. Mine walks too. I put a rag under the magnet like a barbarian.

Rivet knocks the magnetic one off about once a month. A heavy base is a safety device. For the indicator, sure, but also for the dog.
