Lid for the carriage oil cup isn't on the lathe I just bought. Chips in the cup. I picked them out. A lid from a jar doesn't fit. Not a crisis. Annoyed.

Turn a lid. It's a disc and a lip. Ten minutes, and you stop feeding the ways a chip salad.
