leaves in the chip pan, the door doesn't latch

Wind yesterday. The shop door didn't latch. This morning the chip pan had leaves in it and the ways had a fine coat of outside. Wiped, oiled, latched the door with a better hasp. Nothing rusted overnight. Annoyed at the door, not the season.

leaves are a cleaner insult than grit. still wipe before you oil or you just make leaf tea. door discipline is the whole hobby some weeks
