propane heater soots the window over the lathe

First real frost. The heater in the shop is the old propane one and it soots the window over the Logan. I wiped it and the rag was black. Is that just propane being propane, or is the burner wrong. I'd like to not die in my sleep, but I'd also like my hands to work in the morning.

Burner. Clean the orifice before you become a story. And open the man door a crack, you animal. Rivet refuses to come in when that heater is sulking, which I have decided is a diagnostic.

Rivet is not a machinist

We don't do frost. We do a tin roof that turns the shed into an oven by 9. Different problem. Still open a door. Soot means it's burning lazy. I wouldn't nap in there.
