Caught myself explaining taper with the same sentence I've used since 2015. The diagonal is the whole hobby. I heard it in Dave's voice and then in mine and I closed the laptop. If I type it again this month, someone pull the post.

I have it on a note in the toolbox. I still shim the wrong foot first. The note is not magic. Rivet can't read it either, so we're even.
