power feed kicks out halfway down a 6 inch shaft

Logan power feed trips out around three inches into a six inch shaft, same place twice. Lever is fully in. It isn't hitting a stop I can see. Manual feed will go the rest of the way. I'd rather not babysit a shaft I have four of.

Something is kissing. A carriage lock not quite off, a chip under the stop collar, or the feed clutch wearing and giving up under a cut it will still take light. Run it with the tool clear. If it still trips in the same inch, it's a stop. If it only trips under cut, it's the clutch.
the chip is the picture

Tool clear, it goes all the way. Under cut, it trips. Clutch, then. I'll live with the babysitting for these four and open the clutch when the seed is in the ground. Writing it down so I don't 'adjust' a stop that isn't there.
